How long does a showaround take?

Approximately one hour, though we're happy to take as long as you need.

Is there any commitment involved in booking a showaround?

None at all. A showaround is simply a chance to see the venue, explore the suites and ask questions — with no obligation to book.

How do I book a wedding showaround?

What should I bring to my showaround?

Nothing essential, but it's helpful to have a rough idea of guest numbers, a preferred date or dates, and any questions or inspiration you've gathered.

What questions should I ask at my showaround?

Good questions to ask include: Which suites are available on our preferred date? What's included in each package? Can we see a sample menu? What is the payment schedule? Can we style the room ourselves? What time does the evening finish? Do you have recommended suppliers? There are no wrong questions — our team is here to help.

How long will La Mon hold our preferred date after a showaround?

Your preferred date is provisionally held for 14 days with no obligation. If there is demand from another couple during that period, we will contact you — but we will not release the date within the 14 days. After 14 days, the date is released if not confirmed.

How do we officially confirm our wedding date?

By signing a contract and paying the non-refundable, non-transferable £1,000 booking fee.

What happens after we've booked?

Your personal wedding co-ordinator becomes your dedicated point of contact. Around 12 weeks before your wedding, they'll arrange a detail appointment to finalise menus, timings, room set-up and all the personal touches for your day.

When is the best time to book?

As early as possible. Popular dates — particularly Saturdays and bank holidays — can book up well over a year in advance. Midweek and Sunday dates offer more flexibility and can be a wonderful, cost-effective alternative.

Can we pay off our balance before the final due date?

Yes. The £1,000 deposit confirms your date. 50% of your total is due 12 weeks before your wedding, and the remaining balance is due 10 days before. You are welcome to pay off as much or as little as you like at any point in between.
