Celebrate your wedding day from start to finish in our stunning spaces at La Mon Hotel & Country Club. We offer a variety of indoor and outdoor locations for the blessing of your union. Wedding Ceremonies can be held in our landscaped gardens or in our private ceremony rooms, with Wedding Receptions held indoors in our versatile and customisable suites.

At La Mon Hotel & Country Club, we are unable to reserve the services of a registrar for your ceremony. We recommend that couples ensure the Registrar or Minister is available to officiate. Please contact Lisburn Registration Office on +44 (0)28 9244 7263 if you wish to be married in a civil ceremony at La Mon Hotel & Country Club.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many wedding suites does La Mon have?

We have five distinctive spaces — the Riverview, Ballygowan, Milford, Gransha and Craigantlet Suites — each with its own character and capacity.

Can we hold our ceremony and reception in the same suite?

Yes. Several suites can accommodate both ceremony and reception. Our team will advise on the best arrangement for your chosen suite and guest numbers.

How many guests can each suite hold?

Capacities are as follows — Riverview Suite: up to 120 (ceremony); Ballygowan Suite: 160 day / 200 evening; Milford Suite: 170 day / 210 evening; Gransha Suite: 80 day / 120 evening; Craigantlet Suite: up to 60 (ceremony).

Can we style the suites ourselves?

Yes. All suites are a blank canvas, ready to be dressed to your colour scheme, layout and personal taste.

Can we use outside suppliers for decorations, flowers and entertainment?

Yes. Outside suppliers are welcome for non-food and non-drink items, including flowers, décor, bands, DJs and singers. All suppliers must provide valid public liability insurance.

How many guests can sit at each table?

Our 6ft round tables comfortably seat 8 to 10 guests. Table layouts are discussed with you closer to your wedding date.

Do we have to leave the suite after the meal for the dance floor to be set up?

We ask guests to move to the foyer while we clear and rearrange the room and the DJ sets up. This can take up to one hour, but your bar and foyer will be open throughout.

Is there outdoor space available for photographs?

Yes — all suites have access to our landscaped private gardens, gazebo, water feature and patio. The Craigantlet and Gransha Suites also have access to our private wedding lawn, which can be used for outdoor ceremonies during Spring and Summer.

When can our wedding cake be delivered?

Cakes must be delivered on the day of your wedding as we are unable to store them overnight. Please ensure your baker is aware of this.

Can we have a candy cart or sweet station?

Yes — sweets for a sweet cart are permitted as an exception to our external food and beverage policy.
